A 13% island government bed tax applies to all rental totals.

To keeps costs down, we accept checks and PayPal only

One half the rental amount secures your reservation. Balance of payment
is to be remitted 60 days prior to your vacation.
We provide a rental agreement for our guests.
Storm Season Policy (August-October):
If the Cayman Islands Government has issued a
hurricane evacuation and you decide to leave The Laurelei before the end of your reserved time, you will be charged
only for the nights you have stayed.
If a hurricane hits Grand Cayman Island and you become stranded at The Laurelei
because flights have been canceled, your first overstay night will be FREE. For each additional night, you will be charged
a nominal fee of US $150/night for a maximum of 2 additional nights. It is expected that you will depart on the first available
flight as power outages are imminent. The building is one of the strongest on the island.
Cancellation
prior to Arrival:
In the event that your flight to Grand Cayman has been cancelled due to a Government issued
hurricane warning, you will be given a voucher for your deposit good for one year. If a hurricane is anticipated to hit Grand
Cayman within 24 hours of your visit, you may cancel your reservation and will be given a voucher for your deposit good for
one year. Seasonal rates apply.
Rental Policy:
One half of the rental payment is due within 7 days of booking. This holds the specific time agreed
upon for your vacation. The balance is due 60 days prior to your stay, payable by check or PayPal. If you
reserve less than 60 days before your trip, payment is due in full. The payments are non-refundable. However, we
will try to return payment if we are able to rent the unit for that time. We make every effort to do so. One night's
rental is held for management, processing & bank fees. Trip insurance is advised.
The Laurelei is fully liscenced with and
approved by the Cayman Island Department of Tourism, and meets it's highest standards.
